Pascal De Laet

(CEO)

Pascal De Laet (°1964 in Antwerp (B)) read Roman philology at UFSIA and UIA in Antwerp and, subsequent to graduating, worked for various publishing companies. From 1994 until 2008, he was director of the German office of Flanders Tourism in Cologne. Since 2009, Pascal has, in his role as CEO of SMS-Tourism, been working as marketing and communications consultant in the sector of tourism and culture. Within this context, he is also co-founder of the Antwerp-based press and PR agency “BeNeDeLuxe”.

Claudia De Laet

(Project Manager Germany)

Claudia De Laet (°1969 in Detmold (D)) has, for the last 20 years, been working exclusively in the tourism sector. Initially being product manager at “CTS Gruppen- und Studienreisen“, she worked, until March 2013, as project manager for marketing and trade at the German office of Flanders Tourism in Cologne. Since April 2014, Claudia has been reinforcing the team at SMS-Tourism in her position as project manager, establishing and maintaining liaisons with the German travel sector. Further, she is in charge of development and support of joint promotions and where needed, active as commercial representative.

Joel Etzold

Joel Etzold

(Project Manager Germany)

Joel Etzold (°1966 Münster (Germany)) graduated in ethnology and geography at WWU in Münster. He kicked off his career in the Meeting & Incentives department of the Deutsch Arabische Reisebüro and Moroccan travel agency Royal Tours. From 1998 until 2014 he was the press officer of the German office of Flanders Tourism, based in Cologne. He recently joined the team of BeNeDeLuxe as project manager and in that capacity, he is in charge of our media contacts in Germany. Given his extensive experience abroad, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Joel is also fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch.
